Darrell Stice

Darrell G. Stice, age 54 of Cherryvale, Kansas died Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Mercy Hospital in Independence, Kansas. Cremation has taken place. Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Pleasant Dale Cemetery in rural Cherryvale, Kansas. The family has suggested memorials to the Fish Game Commission and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Cherryvale, Kansas. Darrell was born November 11, 1956 in Independence, Kansas to Glenn C. and Frances Bradshaw Stice. Darrell graduated from Labette County High School. On March 15, 1987 Darrell married Pam Gillman in Cherryvale, Kansas where they made their home. Darrell worked for Kansas Wildlife and Parks as a Fish Biologist. He was a member of the Church of the Latter Day Saints. Survivors include his wife Pam Stice of Cherryvale, Kansas four daughters Kristy Michaels and Elizabeth Branch both of Georgia, Barbara Hunter of Raymore, Missouri and Terry Gath of McCune, Kansas mother Frances Stice of Cherryvale, Kansas one brother Ray Stice and wife Janie of Cherryvale, Kansas two sisters Gloria Gray of Independence, Kansas and Dorothy Stice of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father Glenn Stice and one brother Gary Stice.
