Darrell Robertson

Darrell W. Robertson, 57, of Rural Caney died Sunday February 19, 2012 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. A Celebration Of Life Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday February 23, 2012, at the Tyro Christian Church Tyro, Kansas with Evangelist David Bycroft officiating. Burial will follow in the Fawn Creek Cemetery Tyro, Kansas under the direction of Potts Chapel Caney, Kansas. Visitation hours will be held from Noon to 8:00 pm, Wednesday February 22, 2012, with the family receiving friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Potts Chapel, Caney, Kansas. The family has suggested memorials to the Tyro Christian Church and or the Coffeyville A A and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel or the Tyro Christian Church. Darrell was born August 25, 1954 in Tulsa, Oklahoma the son of Monroe and Louella Burnett Robertson he graduated from the Caney School System, he also attended the Okmulgee Oklahoma Technological School. On August 5, 1972 Darrell was United in Marriage to Debbie Wilson and the couple made their home in Tyro, Kansas until 1988 when they moved to Wichita, Kansas. 1992 the couple moved to Lake Mary, Florida until 2005 when they moved to rural Caney, Kansas. Darrell worked as a Tile Setter for Robertson Tile and as a Machinist for Arrow Valve in Caney. He was a member of the Indian OTOE Missouria Tribe and the Tyro Christian Church and the AA of Coffeville, Kansas. Survivors include his wife Debbie of the home, his father Monroe K. Robertson Tyro, Kansas, two sons Preston Robertson of Bartlesville, Okla., Quinton Robertson of Sanford, Florida, one daughter Jessica Robertson Caney,Kansas, two brothers Richard K. Robertson Miami , Okla., Curtis A. Robertson Tyro, Ks., two sisters Sherry Stevens Caney, Ks., Cathey Alani Caney, Ks. Three Grandchildren Micah Robertson, Payton Robertson and Joshua Robertson.
