Danny Vannoster, Independence, passed away on Sunday, April 4th, 2021 in Wichita, Kansas. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 9th, 2021 at the Jefferson Cemetery at 10am.  Arrangements entrusted with Potts Chapel.

Danny was born on August 7th, 1952 in Independence, Kansas. He was the son of Ora and Nannette (Sutton) Vannoster. He was raised in Independence and received his GED in 1992.

In June of 1975, he married Brenda (Vance) Vannoster. Together they had two children: Jeffry and Jennifer. Brenda passed away in July of 2003. Later, Danny married Patricia “Patty” Dunham.

Danny owned and operated several businesses, including: Elk Valley Grain, a feed store, a tire shop and most recently the Laurel Street Market. He had also preached at various churches. Danny enjoyed fishing, woodworking gospel music and just being outdoors. He also loved his dogs Jojo and Chief and his cats Punkin and Baby Girl.

Those preceding him in death were his parents and infant brother and sister: Jeannie and Charles Vannoster.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Patty, son Jeffrey (Heather) Vannoster, daughter Jennifer Vannoster, grandchildren: Braelon, Byntlee, Katlyn, McKinley and Lilli, three step children: Katrina McMullen, Johnny Keitzer and David (Shauna) Stout, eight step grandchildren and mother-in-law Virginia Dunham.
