Dale Lasater was born Dale Lou White in Beaver, Oklahoma on January 13, 1952. She was the daughter of Tommy C and Louella V White.
Raised in Independence, Kansas graduating from Independence High School in 1970. She participated in the Choral Ensemble, Pep Club and Choral Club and Kayettes, Kansas Association for Youth, (KAY). She continued her education at Independence Community Junior College where she was a member of the Young Republicans Club, Office Education Association, Student Union Activities Council, College Sports Staff and worked at the college library, graduating with an Associate's Degree in accounting.
Dale was a member of the Eastern Star, Candy Strippers, Brownie's, and Girl Scouts. She enjoyed being around people and always remember everything about everyone she met. Where they are now, who they married, how many children they had and the names of their children. She was a candidate for Queen of Neewollah in 1969
Dale was united in marriage to Stephen M Lasater on November 4, 1972 at the First Christian Church, Independence Kansas. They had two sons, Jason Michael Lasater, born March 9, 1974 and Joshua Matthew Lasater, born April 21, 1978
Moved to Wichita in 1978 where she worked at The Law Company in the payroll and accounting department until 1999.
Her hobbies included reading, genealogy, watching movies, sports, keeping in touch with friends, taking care of her husband and two boys. She scheduled the referees for the youth soccer league, she was the Secretary of the Kansas Soccer Association (KSA) she handled the registration for the adult soccer league and she was a soccer mom. Dale also founded and organized the Kansas Classic Soccer Tournament where she invited college coaches across the country to come and provide scholarships to top players from Kansas.
Dale moved to Burnsville, Minnesota in 1999 where she worked for Joe McWhorter & Associates as an office manager, personal assistant until 2002 when she went to work for an Apartment Complex as an Assistant Manager until 2015, when she retired.
Dale passed away on October 22, 2017 at Fairview Hospital in Edina, Minnesota and is survived by her husband, two sons, Mother Louella Lovelace, Brother Tommy White III and Sister Kelta Counsil.
Services will be held at Potts Funeral Chapel Friday, November 3, 2017 from 3:00 - 4:00 pm.
A reception will be held at the First Christian Church from 4:00 - 5:00 pm.
