SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 10:00 AM FRIDAY ,APRIL 30, 2010 AT THE POTTS CHAPEL OF INDEPENDENCE WITH THE REVEREND DON ELLIOTT OF THE DEWEY FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH OFFICIATING. INTERMENT WILL BE AT THE OAK HILL CEMETERY, ELK, CITY, KANSAS, UNDER THE DIRECTION OF POTTS CHAPEL, INDEPENDENCE. VISITATION WILL BE THURSDAY APRIL 29, 2010 FROM 8 AM TO 8 PM WITH THE FAMILY RECEIVING FRIENDS FROM 6:OOPM TO 8:00PM. A MEMORIAL WITH THE AMERCIAN CANCER SOCIETY HAS BEEN SET UP AND REMEMBRANCES WILL BE RECEIVED AT THE POTTS CHAPEL. CONNIE WAS BORN MARCH 11, 1944, IN PARSONS, KANSAS THE DAUGHTER OF GEORGE AND TREVA PIESKER WILSON. CONNIE ATTENDED THE INDEPENDENCE SCHOOL SYSTEMS. IN OCTOBER, 1959 CONNIE MARRIED RAYMOND E. ERVIN IN MIAMI, OKLAHOMA THEY LATER DIVORCED. CONNIE WORKED AS A CITY CARRIER FOR THE POSTAL SERVICE IN INDEPENDENCE FROM WHICH SHE RETIRED. SHE WAS A PAST MEMBER OF THE INDEPENDENCE BOWLING LEAGUE AND THE POSTAL UNION. SURVIVORS ARE A DAUGHTER LYNN ALLEN OF WADDELL,AZ .ONE SON RANDAL E. ERVIN OF NEODESHA,KS.,TWO BROTHERS STUB WILSON AND STEVE WILSON OF INDEPENDENCE 10 GRANDCHILDREN AND 4 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN WHICH WAS HER PRIDE AND JOY SHE ADORED HER GRANDCHILDREN.
