Cody Shull

Cody L. Shull, age 8, Dearing, Kansas passed away in an accident on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at home. To sign the book visit Potts Chapel, Independence, Kansas from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Thursday, December 15, 2016. A Celebration of Cody's life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Dearing Christian Church. Memorials may be made to the family and may be left with Potts Chapel.
Cody was born August 8, 2008 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Berry Shull and Jennifer Ferrell. Cody was a 3rd grader and attended Community Elementary School in Coffeyville. Cody was a typical rambunctious little boy who was always smiling and pulling pranks. Cody loved everyone and never met a stanger he loved anything orange, Foxy, Batman and enjoyed playing X Box 360 and surfing the internet on his tablet and building with his Legos. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Cody was preceded in death by his grandfather Larry Shull, and by his older brother Steven Whittley. Survivors include his parents; one brother, Dominick Ferrell; two sisters, Nicole Marie Shull, Carrie Dawn Jones; his grandparents, Mary Shull, Kay Essig, and John Ingalsbe; many aunts; uncles; cousins; and his beloved pets, his dog, Prime, and cat Bumblebee.
