Clinas Rasnick Jr., age 75, of Independence, Kansas died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the Mercy Hospital in Independence, Kansas. Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Zion Lutheran Church with the Pastor Fred Naumann officiating under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. The family may be contacted at the home. The family has suggested memorials to the Ash Youth Center or the Mercy Hospital Cancer Center and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Cline was born April 7, 1936 in War West, Virginia to Cline Sr. and JoAnn Rasnick. Cline grew up in Detroit, Michigan and graduated from High school in Detroit. Cline served in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1959. Cline worked at TRW as the manager in the automotive warehouse from 1960 to 1970. On June 12, 1971 Cline married Anne Hazlewood in Reno, Nevada. In 1973 Cline went to work in sales until his retirement in 2000. Cline also worked for Elchin and Dana. Cline was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and a past member of the Elks Club, Cline coached city recreation soccer, little league and babe ruth baseball. Survivor include wife Anne of the home one son Jeffrey Rasnick of Overland Park, Kansas one daughter Kristin Lopeman of Olathe, Kansas two brothers Harold Rasnick of Los Angeles, California and Claude Rasnick of Detroit, Michigan and two grandchildren.
