Claudia Adams

Claudia Fay Adams, age 75, of Independence, Kansas died Thursday, November 27, 2008 at the Mercy Hospital in Independence, Kansas. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 1, 2008 at the Dewey Cemetery in Dewey Oklahoma under the direction of the Potts Chapel. Visitation hours will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2008 with the family receiving friends at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. The family has suggested memorials to Another Chance To Serve which provides Christmas presents for children and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Claudia was born June 11, 1933 in Gladewater, Texas to James and Susie Bishop Canaday. She graduated from the Copan High School. In 1954 Claudia married Joe Adams in Rawlings, WY and he preceded her in death in 2007. Survivors include one daughter Kim Adams of Independence, Kansas; one grandson Jason Adams of Las Vegas, NV; two great grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews.
