Christy Severn

Christy E. Severn, 52, of Independence Kansas passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Independence Kansas. Graveside Services will be Friday, February 15, 2013 at the Liberty Cemetery in Liberty Kansas at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dick Drumeller officiating under the direction of Potts Chapel of Independence. Christy was born in Joplin, Missouri on March 8, 1960 to Claude and Margaret Bilderback Severn. She grew up in Joplin, Missouri where she attended the Joplin Schools. Christy had been a CNA at Regal Estates and Glenwood. She is survived by two brothers, Jim Severn of Virginia and Durk Bailey of Baxter Springs.
