Christopher Miller

Christopher D. Miller, age 44 of Cherryvale, Kansas died Friday, December 19, 2008 as a result of a fatal car accident south of Chanute, Kansas. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be at Potts Chapel in Cherryvale, Kansas at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 24, 2008. The family has suggested memorials to the Christopher Miller Memorial and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel. Chris was born August 4, 1964 in Ellsworth, Kansas to Patrick M. and Janet R. Minniear Miller. He attended schools in Shawnee Mission, Springfield, Missouri and Grandview, Missouri. Chris married Ronita Mann and they later
orced. He married Jodie Smith and they later
orced. He worked at Hardees in Grandview, Missouri while in High School; later worked at National Garment and P.C. Boards in Chanute and then did in
idual jobs. He was a temporary employee for Express Personnel in Parsons. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Janet R. and Kenneth W. Gibson of Cherryvale, Kansas; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Minniear of Cherryvale, Kansas; four children, a daughter Melissa Miller; three sons Jarod Mann, Christopher Jay Miller; and Cooper Miller all of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; a brother Mark A. Miller of Overland Park, Kansas and a granddaughter Kadence Brooks. He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick M. Miller; a 3 month old daughter, Macie, his grandfather, Bernard Miller and grandmother Pearl Miller, Garnett, Kansas and grandfather I.O. Chief Minniear of Cherryvale, Kansas.
