Christopher Chapman

Christopher (Chip) Lee Chapman 52 of Independence, KS. went to be with his Lord on Thursday March 15, 2018 at his home with his loving family at his side.
Graveside services will be Tuesday March 20, 2018 at 11:00am at Harrisonville Cemetery Southwest of Independence, KS. A visitation will be at 10:00am on Tuesday March 20, 2018 at Potts Chapel with the family receiving friends.
Christopher (Chip) Lee Chapman was born June 17, 1965 in Atchison, KS, the son of William Lee and Ramona L (Surritt) Chapman and brother Mike and sister Erin. Chip attended school in Atchison and Lancaster KS, and graduated from Independence High School in 1983. On March 21, 1987 Christopher was united in marriage to Connie Garman in Independence, KS. where they have made their past 31 years. Chip worked for Coffeyville Resources as a Boardman.
Chip Loved working on cars with his sons and was building a Hot Rod with them, Chip loved to work on leather craft and loved to weld, he could make anything from metal, leather, wood. Chip loved to go fishing and hunting with his sons, but most of all Chip loved to spend time with his loving family, Chip was a devoted Christian Husband, Daddy and Papa.
Chip is survived by his loving wife Connie of the home and 2 sons Cameron Chapman and wife Estie and Cory Chapman and Emma Hentzen all of Independence, KS. and granddaughter Joslyn Chapman of Independence, KS. and Mother in-law Wanda McDonald of Coffeyville, KS.
