Chlora Stewart

Chlora E. Stewart, 90, of Independence died Tuesday at her home.
Cremation has taken place and an inurnment will be held in St. John, Kansas at a later date.
Chlora was born August 24,, 1923 in St. John, Kansas the daughter of Hugh R and Hulda E. Williamson Beitler.
She grew up in St. John, Kansas and graduated from the St John School System.
In 1960 Chlora married Clifford Stewart and he preceded her in death in 1969.
Chlora worked as a Nurse at Grace Hospital for 14 years at Hutchinson, Kansas also at Mercy Hospital, Independence.
Chlora served as a Nurse in the United States Air Force .
She was a member of the Grace Methodist Church, Eastern Star life member and Hospital Auxillary.
Survivors include one daughter Rexine J. McPhail of Rockway Beach, Mo., two brothers Thaine Beitler of Colorado Spring, Colo., Arlo Beitler of Hutchinson, Ks., fourteen grandchildren and six great grand children.
