Charlotte Howe

Charlotte Ann Howe, 81 passed away at Medicalodges of Independence on Saturday, April 24, 2021. A Celebration of Charlotte’s life will be held at a later date.

Charlotte was born on December 29, 1939 in Thayer, Kansas to Gerald R. and Irene (Wheeler) Howe. After graduating high school in Neodesha, Kansas in 1957, Charlotte attended the Topeka Business School, graduating in 1959. She then took a job in San Diego, CA at Brown Martin Law firm. Where she worked as a paralegal for 20 years. She then moved to Nashville, TN and started her own business, Secretarial Support Company. In the early 2000s, Charlotte moved to Independence to help take care of her mother. Charlotte enjoyed travelling to Las Vegas and other destinations, collecting limited edition glass wear and dolls. She also loved to watch NASCAR, even attending several races across the US.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gerald R. and Irene Howe, brother, Jerry Howe, and sister, Helen Hudiburg.

Her memory will carry on with her brothers, Wesley and wife Susan Howe of Nashville, TN, Mort and wife Kay Howe of Independence, KS, sister, Katherine Brueggeman of Nevada, MO and numerous nieces and nephews. To leave the family a special message of condolence, please visit www.pottsfuneralhome.com.
