Charles Edward Landrum passed away on November 14, 2025, at the age of 82. He was born in LePanto, Arkansas to William Butler and Ora Estell Landrum on March 5th, 1943. He was preceded in death by his sister Elaine and brother-in-law Bill Romig and several other siblings as well as his parents.

Once he had settled into life in Kansas, he attended Class LTD and Successful Dreams Centers and went on to live in his own apartment and later owned his first home living life to the fullest. Charles worked at three part time jobs and loved getting a paycheck.
In 2022, Charles really thrived when he moved in with his great niece, Brooke Guyot, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. While there, he attended and worked at Life Center Adult Day Services. At the time of his passing, he had moved in with John and Elese and Brooke Guyot in Yukon, Oklahoma.
Charles loved his family and all the family get togethers. He also loved working, getting mail (especially from his pen pals David and Carole Tallman), and going to church and fishing with John and Tim and Kristi Link. He also loved living on the farm with Bill and Elaine and driving a tractor.
Charles is survived by his niece, Elese and her husband John Guyot, his great niece, Brooke Guyot, David and Carole Tallman, Randy and Peggy Tallman and their family, Stu and Lori Butler and their son Jordan and their family, and special friends Mark and Rebecca Sprayberry and their family, Tim and Kristi Link and family, Dana Satchel, and Samantha Magner, his loving Independence church family, and many friends.
Charles was a good, happy man all of the time and had many many friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
