Chad Smith

Chad Smith, 44, of Independence, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 10th at 10:00am at Potts Chapel of Independence. Visitation will be Friday, February 9th, 1:00-7:00 pm, with family greeting friends 5-7pm.
Chad Erick Smith was born September 1, 1973 in Independence, Kansas. He was the son of Alvin Joe Smith and Sharon Kaye Smith. He made his home in Independence. He worked for MATCOR for 13 years. Chad married Kelly Davis on July 31, 2004. They later divorced.
Chad enjoyed boating, watching UFC and wrestling. He loved his Dallas Cowboys and was their number one fan.
Those left to cherish is memory are his parents: Alvin and Francis Smith and Sharon Smith, sister Tracy Anderson, step sister Vickie Ainesworth, step brothers: Curtis Brown and Dennis Heath, nieces and nephews: Luke and Levi Anderson, Johny and Casey Ainesworth, Tyler, Trevor, Adrienne and Carolyn Brown and former wife Kelly Davis and his step son Jordan Mason.
