Catherine Ballaro

Catherine Marie Ballaro, age 58, of Independence, Kansas died Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the Mercy Hospital in Independence, Kansas. Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Catherine was born September 18, 1952 in Frankfurt, Germany to Charles and Bonnie Gross Perrella. Catherine graduated from the Murray High School in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1970. Catherine received her nursing degree in Springfield, Missouri. Catherine lived mostly in Wichita, Kansas and Springfield, Missouri before moving to Independence, Kansas. She was a nurse in several different nursing homes. Survivors include her mother Bonnie Perrella of Springfield, Missouri two sons Mike Garretson of Texas and Will Linder of Wichita, Kansas two daughters Kathy Linder and Tara Ballaro both of Independence, Kansas four brothers Mike Perrella, Steve Perrella, Jody Hall all of Springfield, Missouri and Terry Perrella of Bolliver, Missouri one sister Charlotte Cordova of Branson, Missoui nine grandchildren and one great grandchildren.
