Catherine Ann Clark, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on November 22, 1949, Catherine was raised in Rural Liberty, Kansas, and was a longtime resident of Independence where she cultivated her love for family and tradition.

Cathy dedicated herself to various roles throughout her career, including notable positions at Arco Pipeline, First Oak Bank, and Mary Kay as a Sales Director. Her commitment to her career was only matched by her passion for her family. Married to her best friend and spouse, Don Clark, for 46 loving years, her life was enriched by the joy of family gatherings and celebrations that brought everyone together.

Cathy was a person of warmth and generosity, exemplified by her favorite tradition of making Sunday dinners and holiday meals for her family. There was truly no happiness greater for her than bringing loved ones together around the dinner table. Her enthusiasm extended beyond the home, as she found joy in the excitement of casino outings, specifically playing Lucky Duck and racking up casino points.

Her family was the pride of her life, with a particular adoration for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cathy actively engaged in keeping up with the lives and accomplishments of her children and friends, always offering her unwavering support and encouragement.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents Merwyn and Florence Bever, her brother Jerry Bever, and her daughter Sherrie Robinson.

She is survived by her loving spouse, Don Clark, siblings Debbie (Tony) Rodriguez, Jim Bever and Robert Bever. Her children Scott (Shelley) Henderson, Steve (Lauryn) Henderson, Donna (Carl) Lisciandrello, and Pat (Renea) Clark. Grandchildren Tiffany (Austin) Dodd and their children Lily, Carson, and Charlie Dodd, Patrick (Kristen) Hoben, Kaley Hoben and her son Amor, Travis Britton, Nathan Clark, Andrew, and Alex Hubbard, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of a funeral service, a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 7 from 1pm-3pm at the United Methodist Church in Liberty, KS.
