Carolyn Husk

Carolyn Jean Husk, 76, of Independence, Kansas, passed away a Labette Health in Parsons, Kansas on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

Carolyn was born on January 15, 1945 in Wichita, Kansas to Ben Harvey and Gladys Bretches. Carolyn grew up in Independence attending the Independence school system, graduating from Independence High School in 1963. She worked as a bookkeeper at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Duncanville, Texas, retiring in 2014. She then moved back home to Independence in 2019. Carolyn loved sewing, quilting, and spending time shopping, she always loved to find a bargain.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and daughter, Misti Foster.

Her memory will carry on with her son, Michael Jones of Palmer, Texas, sisters, Norma Reid, and Judy Bowman, and grandson, Nicholas Jones.
