Carol Sue Moulton, 61 of Independence, Kansas passed away at Labette Health in Independence on Sunday, September 11, 2022.
Carol was born in Neodesha, Kansas on November 10, 1960 to Perry and Susan (Weaver) Moulton. Carol attended the Neodesha school system and graduated from Neodesha High School and then attended Independence Community College studying early childhood development. Through the years, Carol worked at Emerson Electric and the nursing home. Carol loved to play BINGO, watch her favorite crime scene investigating shows, read a wide range of books, especially Steven King novels, play Sudoku, and care for her cats.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Perry Moulton and Susan Romig, and brother, Perry “Bud” Moulton.
Carol’s memory will carry on with her daughter, Autumn and husband Matthew McDougal of Owasso, OK, grandson, Wesley McDougal, sisters, Constant Catron and Sherry Gardner of Independence, KS and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcomed to visit Potts Chapel in Independence on Monday, September 19th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm to pay their respects and sign the register. Graveside services will be held at the Neodesha Cemetery on Tuesday, September 20th at 10:00 am. Memorial contribution can be made in Carol’s name to AWOL of Independence.
