Calvin Gulick

Calvin Earl Gulick, age 86, of Caney, Kansas died Friday, May 04, 2012 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville, Kansas. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Caney, Kansas under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2012 at the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. The family has suggested memorials to the Wayside Christian Church and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. Calvin was born April 4, 1926 in Reese, Kansas to Jess and Dora Parsons Gulick. Calvin attended school in Neal, Kansas. On June 21, 1951 Calvin married Lois Seibel in Marion, Kansas. Calvin worked at the Caney Valley High School as a janitor from 1973 to 1980. Calvin was a member of the Wayside Christian Church. Survivors include his wife Lois of the home five sons, Harold Gulick of Caney, Kansas, Gary and wife Janice Gulick of Dallas, Texas, Larry and wife Penny Gulick of Niotaze, Kansas, Mike and wife Debbie Gulick of Niotaze, Kansas, and Rocky Gulick of Arizona two daughters Ruth Ann and husband Roy Shafer of Caney, Kansas and Mary and husband Art Mishler of Caney, Kansas two brothers Marion and Shirley Gulick both of Fredonia, Kansas 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
