BUNYAN M. HENRY III Bunyan Buddy Henry III, age 64, of Independence, Kansas passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Via ChristiSt. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. Cremation has taken place with memorial Services planned at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Potts Chapel of Independence, Kansas. Bunyan was born July 15, 1947 in Lexington, Mississippi the son of Bunyan M. Henry, Jr. and Loretta Goar Henry. He grew up in California and attended schools there. Following a tour of duty in Vietnam he was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps in 1970. He worked as a Control Room Supervisor for the Arco Pipeline Company until he retired. During his spare time he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a generous and caring person. Even after his death he was a anatomical donor thinking of others in need. He is survived by his son, Jason B. Henry of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bunyan and Loretta, and three brothers, Steven Heard, Richard Henry and Joseph Henry.
