Brian Hinthorn

Brian Hinthorn, age 59, passed away at his home in Independence, Kansas after a long struggle with cancer. Brian was born to Herbert and Donna Tucker Hinthorn on November 25, 1952 in Independence, Kansas. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Brian had worked as a heavy equipment operator in Eureka, Kansas. He then went to work for the Cement Plant as an engineer in Independence, Kansas from August 12, 1991 until its closing in September of 2008. Brian was a past member of the Carson Masonic Lodge in Elk City, Kansas. Survivors include his mother Donna Hinthorn brother Herbert Sonny Hinthorn of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He also leaves Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and a lot of friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his father Herbert Hinthorn and his brother Roger Hinthorn. The family has suggested memorials to the Mercy Hospice and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas.
