Brian Eytcheson

Brian G. Eytcheson, 49, of Independence, Kansas passed away Monday January 26, 2015 at Mercy Hospital, Independence.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a. m. Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Potts Chapel in Independence with Pastor Gerald Eytcheson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence, Kansas under the direction of the Potts Chapel Independence.
Visitation hours will be held from 9:00 a. m. to 8:00 p. m. Thursday, January 29, 2015 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. at the Potts Chapel Independence.
The family has suggested memorials to the American Cancer Association or the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice of Coffeyville.
Brian was born January 15, 1966 in Independence, Kansas the son of Harold L. and Betty I (Morris) Eytcheson . He grew up in Independence and attended the Independence School System.
Brian was a self employed Oil Field Contractor.
Survivors include his mother Betty I. Eytcheson of Independence, Ks., his wife Tammy Grimes of the home, two daughters Crystal Johnson and husband Mark, step daughter Jennifer Wright both of Independence, Ks., three sons Brian Lee Eytcheson, Mike Grimes and partner Troy Dannels and Chance M. Cargile- (nephew) all of Independence, Ks., one brother Leonard Eytcheson of Independence, Ks., one sister Helen Jean Cargile of Independence, Ks., three grandchildren Jaycie Johnson, Jailynn Johnson and Johnna Johnson of Independence, Ks., several nieces and nephews.
Brian was preceded in death by his father Harold Lee Eytcheson and one Brother Harold Dean Eytcheson.
