Bo Miesner, 16, of Independence died Friday, July 26, 2013 at the Via Christi St Francis Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 2, 2013 at the First Christian Church in Independence, Kansas with the Reverend Jack Kyle of the First Christian Church of Neodesha, Kansas Officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence. Visitation hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 1, 2013 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. The family has suggested memorials to the Bo Miesner Scholarship Fund for the Class of 2015 and contributions may be left at Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Bo was born December 23, 1996 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma the son of Aaron and Crystal Carroll Miesner. He grew up in Independence and was a junior at the Independence High School. He was a member of the Lutheran Church in Independence, Kansas and past member of the Cub Scouts. Bo played slow pitch soft ball and loved fishing and hunting. He also like motorcycles and was an avid Chevy fan. Bo enjoyed spending time with his friends. He also loved spending time with his family. He was also a mommys boy. Survivors include his mother Crystal Bryant and step father Mark of Independence, Kansas and his father Aaron Miesner and step mother Maggie of Independence, Kansas four brothers, Gunnar Miesner of Independence, Kansas, Mark Bryant Jr. and Dylan Bryant both of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Alex Mese of Independence, Kansas four sisters, Tiffany Bryant of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Autumn Bryant, Stephanie Mese and Amber Schafer all of Independence, Kansas two nieces Kiera Cook and Eva Bryant of Tulsa, Oklahoma and numerous grandparents. Bo was preceded in death by two sisters, Dakota Miesner and Tiffany Schafer and one brother, Lance Miesner.
