Billie Lukens Billie Lukens, age 31, of Independence, Kansas died Saturday July 25, 2009 in Independence, Kansas. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday July 31, 2009 at the Community Christian Church with Pastor Steve Butler officiating. Billie was born June 14, 1978 in Coffeyville, Kansas to David Sanborn and Wendy Shull. She attended school in Independence. Billie worked for Skil as a caregiver. Survivors include her parents David Sanborn of Elk City, Kansas, and Wendy Sanborn of Independence, Kansas; one daughter Stormi Lukens of Coffeyville, Kansas; three sisters, Mirand Stout, Brandy Stout, and Angela Stout of Independence, Kansas.
