Bernice Bennett

Bernice C. Bennett, 96, formally of Coffeyville, Kansas, died Tuesday May 17, 2011 in Yukon, Oklahoma. Graveside Celebration of Life Services will be held Thursday, at 1:00pm, May 19, 2011, at Mount Hope Cemetery , Independence with the Reverend Darren Melton of the Nazarene Church , Independence officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Potts Chapel, Independence. Visitation will be Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Potts Chapel, Independence from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Bernice was born April 27, 1915, in Flat Rock Illinois, the daughter of Virgil C. and Lillie Rea Morgan. On December 4, 1948 she was united in marriage to Henry D. Bennett in Bentonville, Ar.. Henry preceded he in death in September of 2001. Brenice worked for the Electra Company and Ford Motor Company. Survivors are a niece Dawn Barton of Mustang, Okla.
