Barbara Sullivan

Barbara L. Short Sullivan, 71, passed away Tuesday, March 27 in Tulsa. She was born October 21, 1940 to Margurite and Lewis Short in Copan, OK. Barbara was a beloved mother, business woman, and teacher. She enjoyed traveling the world and had visited Iran, the USSR, Peru and Egypt. She is survived by her son Patrick, her grandson Declan, her brothers John, Dee, Jim and Jack, many loving nieces and nephews, and a close circle of friends in Colorado. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31 at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Caney, KS under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. Visitation hours will be held at from 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 31, 2012 with the family receiving friends from 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas. Her family asks for donations to the Clarehouse of Tulsa in lieu of flowers.
