Annmarie G. Salsberry, 39, of Altamont, Kansas passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Independence wit Rev. Jim Blocher, officiating. Friends may register from 12noon until 8 p.m. Monday at Potts Chapel of Independence with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Memorial remembrances are suggested to the Childrens Education Fund and may be left at Potts Chapel or mailed to P.O. Box 801, Independence, Kansas 67301. Annmarie Gwenith Salsberry was born July 6, 1971 at Kenosha, Wisconsin. She graduated from Baxter Springs High School in 1989 and later received her Bachelors degree from Pittsburg State University. Annmarie married Chris Peacock Jr. in Baxter Springs, Kansas and the couple later divorced. She was the corporate director of Quality and Safety at Mercy Health Systems in Independence and Fort Scott, Kansas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Independence, Kansas and Cocoordinator for Emergency Preparedness. On January 30, 2009 Annmarie married Terry Scott Salsberry in Independence, Kansas and he survives of the home. Other survivors include one daughter Carissa Ann Peacock of the home two sons James Peacock of Chicago, Illinois and CJ Peacock of the home two step daughters Breanna Salsberry and Kathleen Salsberry both of Erie, Kansas mother Gwenith Maye Pendeleton of McCune, Kansas one brother Anthony Pendleton of Miami, Oklahoma one sister Torie Pickering of Baxter Springs, Kansas two grandchildren.
