Angela Diane Leis, age 31, of Independence, Kansas died Sunday, August 23, 2015 in Independence, Kansas.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Visitation hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2015 with the family receiving friends at the Potts Chapel. The family has suggested memorials to Malachi Leis and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel.

Angela was born January 22, 1984 in Minneola, Kansas to Stephen and Diana (Lee) Leis. She grew up in Dodge City and Independence, Kansas where she attended schools. Angela worked at Amazon, Sonic and currently worked for Walmart in Independence, Kansas. Angela attended the Crystalbrook Church.

Survivors include her son Malachi Leis, Mother Diana Leis Babcock of Kansas; Father Stephen Leis of Kansas; brothers Jeremy Leis of Colorado and Austin Babcock of Kansas; sister Tonya Leis of South Carolina; maternal Grandmother Virginia Lee Allison Brown of Kansas; maternal Grandfather Robert Eugene Lee and wife Judy of Oklahoma and Paternal Grandmother Dorothy Leis of Kansas.
