Amelia Boring

Amelia Molly Viola Boring, age 22, of Neodesha, Kansas died Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the Wilson County Medical Center. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Verdigris Valley Christian Fellowship Church with the Pastor Jim Raymond officiating. Burial will follow in the Altoona Cemetery under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas. Visitation hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012 with the family receiving friends at the Verdigris Valley Christian Fellowship Church in Altoona, Kansas. The family has suggested memorials to the Wilson County Medical Center or the Mercy Hospice and contribution may be left at the Potts Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas. Amelia Molly Viola Boring was born April 19, 1990 in McPherson, Kansas to Charles Sonny Leroy II and Margarett Annett Cole Boring. Molly grew up in Stafford, Kansas and attended school in Stafford. She worked as a waitress and a cook at Joans Caf in Stafford, Kansas and later for Dairy Queen in Pratt, Kansas. In 2006 Molly moved to Neodesha, Kansas where she worked at GW Foods and volunteered at the Golden Living Center. Survivors include father Charles Sonny Boring II of Neodesha, Kansas mother Margarett Pennel of Turon, Kansas two brothers Seth Cole of Nine Mile Falls, Washington and Charles Claud Boring III of Turon, Kansas Paternal Grandmother Althea Boring of Neodesha, Kansas Maternal grandparents Richard Darlene Cole of Nebraska uncle Mural Gillespie and aunt Toshiko Gillespie both of Neodesha, Kansas. She was preceded in death by grandfather Charles Leroy Boring I.
