Alida Campbell

Independence, Kansas: Alida L. Campbell, age 91, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Montgomery Place in Indy, Kansas. Visitation will be on Monday, October 29 at Potts Chapel, Independence, 122 S. Penn, beginning at 12:30 P.M.2:30 P.M. A graveside service will follow a Mount Hope Cemetery at 3:00 P.M. in Independence with Reverend Susan Brown officiating. Potts Chapel of Independence has been entrusted with arrangements. Alida was born on Friday, May 13, 1921 to parents Leont and Leontina Merchant Francq in McCume, Kansas. Alida was a life long resident of Cherryvale. Alida was preceded in death by her parents sisters Viola Warner, and Nora Guy and infant brother Leont Jr. Alida is survived by her daughter Dorothy Larry Green of Wilton, Iowa son Melvin Billie Jo Campbell of Deering, Kansas and daughter Evelyn Dale Mishler of Independence seven grand children eleven great grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
