Alicia Ninny Marie Anderson age 65, of Neodesha, Kansas died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the Diversicare of Chanute in Chanute, Kansas.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Christ Church in Neodesha, Kansas under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas. Ninny requested a Celebration Of Life Party which will follow directly after the memorial service at her daughters house at 1327 N. 10th in Neodesha. The family has suggested memorials to the Childrens Place in Kansas City, Missouri and contributions may be left at the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas.

Alicia Ninny Marie Anderson was born May 4, 1949 in Dunedin, Florida to Thomas Evans and Alda Marie Parrish Mitchell. Ninny grew up in Chanute, Kansas and graduated from the Chanute High School. She also attended the Neosho County Community College.

On March 22, 1966 Alicia married Walter R. Anderson in Chanute, Kansas. The couple made their home in Chanute and Humboldt, Kansas. Walter preceded her in death on March 29, 2005. Ninny worked at the Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center, the Humboldt Union, and was an EMT in Humboldt, Kansas for over 10 years.

Survivors include her children April and Scott Whitehead, H.L. Anderson and Liz Johnson both of Neodesha, Kansas and Glen and Cheryl Anderson of Humboldt, Kansas one brother and sister in law Thomas and Sharon Mitchell of Chanute, Kansas Grandchildren Todd Megan Anderson, Victoria Lance White, Jamie Radcliffe, Jordan Anderson, Jaydan Whitehead, Russell Anderson, Hope Anderson, Hunter Whitehead, Tiffany Johnson, Dylan Haylee Johnson and Kyle Johnson Great grandchildren Cole, Haylie, Camryn, Chayce, JVonte and Destiney

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Russell Anderson, one grandson Spencer Anderson and sister Tonya Beecham.
